Why do we have such a hard time forgiving? Maybe it's because we cannot forgive ourselves. To be able to forgive someone else for doing something to hurt you, you need to be able to forgive you. No one is free from making mistakes in their life, we all have. Yet we hold on to that one error like an anchor around our necks, constantly being reminded of what we did. Today, forgive yourself for All that has passed and let it go. Take 100% responsibility for whatever happened, make no excuses and forgive yourself. It may be difficult at first, but do it. Don't say "I'll try to forgive myself", just do it. Write them down if you must, all your mistakes, and once you have forgiven yourself for all that is on that piece of paper, tear it up and burn it. This will help you to let it go. Then you no longer need to think of these things and you will feel a weight lifted. Do it today, for your health, for your soul and for your life. You will begin to see things differently even be less anxious or angry. We generally get angry at others when they do or say something that upsets us, because we see this in ourselves and we do not like it. So let it go and smile. Leave the negativity behind!
